The newlywed songstress, who married her musical director, Kenneth Leonard, back in March, told her followers, “Pull that journal out. Revisit your purpose. Go back and do what God gave you instructions to do. Do it… do it with honor; do it with pride; do it with grace.”
While pushing followers into purpose, Cobbs Leonard acknowledged that it is difficult to remain focused on your unique and specific divine purpose without getting caught up with others’ social media feeds’ littered with “constant updates, flyers, likes, followers.”
“It is easy to get wrapped up in the successes of others and discount where God has you,” wrote the 36-year-old.
“To every Kingdom agent, we are all on the same team, working towards the same goal. We all have the same Father,” she added, concluding, “And, simply put, we all have the same enemy. No matter your assignment in the body of Christ… if you fail, we all fail.”
