Godson Godfrey Releases – ‘Elohim Adonai’

Nigerian renowned gospel minister, singer, songwriter, recording artist, praise and worship leader, Godson Godfrey finally dished his much anticipated single titled: “Elohim Adonai”. Available now for streaming and downloading.

Godson Godfrey is a music minister who has blessed lives with his music and ministration. He is the founder of “The Grace Love Music Team” and the current Music director of OIWC (Okigwe International Worship Center). He is the host of the annual music concert, tagged: “Heart of Worship” ~ which has been a blessing to him and many who have attended.

The song ‘Elohim Adonai’ is a powerful song of worship that is birth out of a place of prayer. It serves as a follow-up to his previous hit song “Chukwu Oma”.

Adonai is always translated as “Lord” as in Exodus 4:10 Then Moses said to the LORD, “Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” (NAS)

The very first name for God given to us is Elohim; it is also the most common name for God. It is used over 30 times in Genesis chapter one, 198 times in the whole book of Genesis, and 2,570 times in the Old Testament. It comes from the root word “EL” which means “strong” or “mighty.”
