Phil Wickham Realeases “It’s Always Been You”

Renowned worship artist and prolific songwriter, Phil Wickham offers up a brand new song titled “It’s Always Been You”, available now for streaming and downloading on digital stores.

In the days leading up to the song’s release, Wickham called the new song “one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written/recorded,” adding “it just hits me differently.” Wickham’s “It’s Always Been You” is now available to download/stream and an accompanying music video can be seen below.

Speaking about the song, Phil pens down via his social media platforms, saying: “I’ll never forget the day I wrote this song with my good friends (and producers of this track) Ricky and Ran Jackson. It was a Heaven-meets-earth, holy moment kind of day. I couldn’t stop wiping the water out of my eyes because how this song reminded me of God’s goodness and faithfulness over my life. I don’t know what God has for this song, or what stories and testimonies will come out of it. But I pray a simple prayer that this song would encourage people that they’re never alone. Wherever you are, and whatever you may be going through, God is with you. You will look back on this moment and see his grace, faithfulness, and His miraculous way of working all things together for His glory and our good.”
