Award-winning songwriter, vocalist and a specially anointed international worship leader of our time, Sinach wins big at the 2021 BMI Christian Awards. She is the first African gospel music artist to win the Song of the Year at Broadcast Music, Inc., (BMI).
Way Maker written by Sinach and published by Capitol CMG was adjudged the most popular song Christian song of the year by BMI in a virtual event on Monday, 2 August 2021. “What God is doing with Way Maker is being my imagination. I am only grateful he used me to bring this song to the whole world. Thank you so much, BMI for this honour. The song also holds the top spot on the list of Top 100 songs ranked by Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI), based on use in churches.
