Jena Brancart Releases “Fighting For My Soul”

Worship leader/songwriter, Jena Brancart offers up a brand new anthem titled “Fighting For My Soul” for people across the globe to look to as a prayer in the midst of challenge. Available now for streaming and downloading tommorrow.

Though the song was predominately inspired by personal life events and not directly taken from Psalm 91, a lot of the lyrics of the song embody its verses. Brancart has always been drawn to this Psalm as a go-to piece of Scripture when she’s hit with the fear of sudden disaster.

“‘Fighting For My Soul’ is a confident declaration of trust and faith in God — embracing the reality that we already live from a place of victory in Him and reminding the soul that He’s authored our future, and therefore, we can rest secure,” Brancart said.

Written in the middle of a season of emotional exhaustion, Brancart hopes this song will fill up the souls of other listeners who feel empty.
