“The idea for the song came from seeing all the ‘threes’ that are in the Bible,” explains Michelson. “I remember walking into the room to write with Tony Wood and throwing out the idea. The moment I opened my mouth and said ‘and three nails hammered home the truth of three words, I love you’ I looked up with tears in my eyes. Tony brought his lyrical magic and inspiration filled the room. The song resonated with both of us on a level only special songs do.”
