In this new single, Korpacz continues innovating within the faith-based music space through her combination of ear-catching melodies, scripture-inspired lyrics, and thought-provoking videography.
In the lyric video that accompanies “Scepter,” the song’s words and choral backing pair with evocative imagery of chapels, pews, stained glass windows, and architectural features from a range of sacred Christian settings.
The song takes inspiration from James 2:13, which states that mercy triumphs over judgment. Karpacz elaborates, “It’s a call for reverence to God. He is a mighty God, and yet He is merciful and gracious and kind.”
