“Zuma Beach” is the sixth in a series of new releases from Reeves this year. She will continue sharing new music in the months to come, leading up to a new full-length LP expected this fall.

“I wrote this song 2 days after the decision was made to get a divorce after 10 years of marriage,” Reeves explained in a social media post. “That day I went into the studio with my eyes swollen from crying and no sleep. I could barely make it through recording the vocals, but I knew this was a holy moment. During this season, I would drive out to Zuma Beach while I stayed in Los Angeles. This place held my tears, my prayers, my brokenness, my bitterness and my fears. Later I found out ‘Zuma’ means peace.”
