The dirty, surging, sinful masses of humanity must be loved. He was criticized and condemned for loving the publicans, adulterers, thieves and harlots and offering them free forgiveness, salvation and eternal life. When criticized He said, “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
