Denise Bamfo is a singer/songwriter from Amsterdam, the Netherlands with roots in Ghana. Growing up she always had a passion for music. At the age of 15 Denise invited Christ into her life as her Lord and Saviour, from that moment she decided to live a life dedicated to Him.

Denise initially started creating her own music while playing around with friends from church. She started taking it more seriously when she received support from people who insisted on her to start using her talent. In her younger years Denise would always write songs, but never did anything with it until recently. Her goal is to give glory to God through her music. Her desire is that her songs will touch people all over the world and that souls shall be won for Kingdom.. Denise prays to be one of the many lights that shines bright in her generation as God leads her on this journey.

On her birthday, 9 July, she released her first ever single; Hold On. The song was well received by many and is such an encouraging song on how to keep holding fast unto God throughout all seasons in life.

We are even more excited to announce her upcoming mini Ep: “Gotta Be More Volume 1” will be released coming Friday, 27 November 2020. “As a young Christian in a world of influencers, people living what they call the good life and pressure from having to make it in life, I was at a point where I couldn’t see purpose anymore. Everyday felt the same. The same routine, the same cycle and it just didn’t stop. As a child I always tried to find a reason behind everything, like why is the world the way it is? Who am i? What’s my purpose? The goal of this song is to remind people that God created them for more and that indeed the plans He has for us are plans to prosper us and not to harm us. In Christ I found who I am and that’s what I want to share with the listeners so that they become more conscious of their time and how they use the life they’ve been given.
