Nigerian fast-rising gospel music minister and songwriter, Ekiyor, Febian Johnson popularly known as ‘Ekiyor Johnson’ makes a gracious entry into the music scene with his debut single titled “You,” produced by “M-ZEE’.

Ekiyor Johnson is a dynamic recording and performing artiste, Tax Consultant, and Entrepreneur. He hails from Sagbama LGA, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He was involved in music at the age of 18, being introduced to circular music by a member of the defunct Melodies – Johnypee, and later transitioned into gospel after giving his life to Jesus.

Ekiyor underwent many more tribulations that drew him closer to God. In 2015, he attended Church of God Mission Int’l Elelenwon, Port Harcourt where he was sponsored to a Bible Institute by the Late Rev. Ken Idehen of blessed memories to learn more about God’s Word. In his days at the Bible Institute, something dropped in Ekiyor’s Spirit. Something he knew he had been missing all his life. Something he had been searching for but in all the wrong places. It was God’s Unconditional and Lavish Love and Grace. It was in the knowledge of The Word he found peace and rest and life has never been the same ever since.

Speaking about the inspiration behind his latest effort “You”, Ekiyor Johnson pens down; “‘You’ was inspired by my life’s testimony. Anyone who has been through the kind of rejection and hates I have been through and has been delivered will know that there is a God in heaven who presides over the affairs of men.

“The song ‘You’ is my thank you letter to God for the transformative turn my life has taken. I am persuaded that there is a God that has taken a special interest in my case and I am happy to be a recipient of His Unconditional Love and Grace. It is my hope that people going through all sorts of tribulation, especially rejection, will draw courage and hope from my testimony and allow God to take the wheel.” –  He concluded!
