Exquisite singer/songwriter, JJ Heller offers up a brand new song titled “Joy To The World,” available now for streaming and downloading via digital stores. This serves as a follow-up to “Today”.
Speaking about the song Heller shares via her social media platform; “A few years ago I made a Spotify playlist called Peaceful Christmas (go have a listen if you haven’t already!). Near the top of the list was Joy to the World by Sufjan. It’s a simple, approachable arrangement of a very classic Christmas hymn. I love his version so much that I wanted to sing it myself.”
She continues; “My version is almost identical except for the addition of a British boys choir (yes, they’re legit from England), and of course, my voice instead of Sufjan’s. There’s just something about it that makes me feel like I’m listening to a cozy little Christmas concert at church. I can picture all the kids filing in on stage and doing their best not to fidget.”
Heller began releasing monthly singles in April 2017 that together have amassed over 55 million combined streams to date (through August 2020). The songstress will continue to announce a brand-new song on the first Friday of each month.
