Dunsin Oyekan, the spirit-filled Nigerian gospel artist and worship leader, has released his latest single, “Crown of Souls,” a soul-stirring composition that intertwines profound lyrics with an uplifting melody. The song is now available for streaming and downloading on all major music platforms.
The inspiration for “Crown of Souls” stems from the biblical passage Isaiah 53:11 (NKJV), which states, “He shall see the labour of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge, My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.” Dunsin Oyekan, drawing on this scripture, shares a powerful revelation that during a moment of worship, he witnessed a crown on Jesus’ head made of souls. According to Oyekan, each time someone surrenders their life to Christ, it adds to the beauty of the Lord’s crown.
In Dunsin’s own words, “This is by far one of my favorite tracks ever! CROWN OF SOULS! A few months ago, as I was worshipping God, my eyes were opened to see the crown on Jesus’ head, IT WAS MADE OF SOULS. Whenever someone gives their life to Christ, beauty is added to our LORD’s crown. This is the reason that you must witness to someone in this season. Jesus is the reason for the season!”
