Nigerian gospel music minister Lola Omobaba has announced the release of her latest single, “Rejoice,” featuring Tosin Bee. The song is now available for streaming and downloading on all major digital platforms.
Lola Omobaba is no stranger to the gospel music scene, having started her journey at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) Abeokuta. She later moved to Daystar Christian Centre (DCC), Lagos, in 2001, where she joined the choir. In 2003, she was appointed Alto part leader in DCC choir by Dr. Kunle Pemiloye.
“Rejoice” is a testament to Lola Omobaba’s journey of faith and resilience. The song was inspired by her personal experiences and a message she heard from Bishop Oyedepo about rejoicing always. After going through tough times and listening to a song about God’s mercy, Lola Omobaba received fresh inspiration for “Rejoice.” The song was written and arranged shortly after.
